„We do not study international relations for aesthetic reasons, since world politics is not beautiful. If we sought scientific rigor we would have pursued careers in experimental disciplines. Instead we are motivated by normative questions, often asked urgently in the wake of disasters…”
My course “Practice of International Relations” in the International Organizations MBA programme at the University of Geneva equips students with tools and methodologies to analyze global economic, political and societal events, and their impact on global cooperation.
Students learn amongst others about the factors determining state behavior, innovation and entrepreneurship in international relations, as well as the norms and principles that underpin our international order.
